Quick exercise- tell me 3 meals you could make from your food storage RIGHT NOW! For most of us who store "commodities" as recommended by most food storage experts, that's an almost impossible task! If you're only storing grains, legumes, sugar, and powdered milk, you're going to have a hard time actually EATING. That's where I come in! I served as an Emergency Preparedness Specialist for years, and I spent hundreds of hours organizing a food co-op, packaging grains and other food commodoties into food buckets with dry ice, and helping people learn to cook with their storage items.
